Why We Started This
Back in 2019, we watched studios release games that felt incomplete. Not broken necessarily — just unrefined. Features that players didn’t understand. Balance decisions that confused experienced gamers. We realized the problem wasn’t lack of testing. It was lack of *systematic* testing.
Most QA processes are reactive. You build something, then test it. We thought differently. What if testing guided design from day one? What if feedback loops were built into development, not bolted on at the end?
That’s when we created the Darwin model. Named after evolutionary principles because great games, like successful species, adapt through rapid iteration and environmental feedback. Every playtest session is data. Every player is a signal. Every session informs the next iteration.
We’ve now worked with studios ranging from 5-person indie teams to publishers with 200+ staff. The methodology scales. The results don’t lie. Games tested through our framework ship cleaner, play better, and retain players longer.
